People call me and tell me things about their
puppies (Good and Bad) all the time. Most things, if you think about
them long enough. Trying to figure out why did he or she do that. It
usually becomes quite clear.
I have enough stories of just my
bunch to fill a book, but would really like to share some of your
stories with everyone else.
My very good friend Mary told me
a couple of things to remember along time ago when I was going to
get my first dane. She said if he is hot, he will dig to get cool (a
hole the size of a small car (like one of hers did), the coffee table
will be cleared in 2 seconds after he enters a room, if its on the
countertops (food that is) its theirs. They may look big and goofy,
but they are very smart and if its important they can be
serious. And remember at the puppy ages these babies are the size of
most adult dogs, but they are still just puppies.
Sylvia told me
her 5 month old, Polly
can open the doors and let herself outside. She just does'nt come
back in.
Samantha has a houdini. Gem can get out of
anything.
Michelle says, Conon has graduated obedience. With
the instructor being very surprised at his progress. They learn very
fast and very young. I believe he was 4 months old at that time he
graduated.
Rain upset dad one night when he(dad) forgot one
of our rules. Do not leave food on the counter. She had a gourmet
meal of 4 Prime Ribs, uncooked. We had
sandwiches.
